There exist some misconception about this animal, because often it isn’t separated from grizzly, which is very aggressive. These animals don’t kill people even in defense of cubs; it is typical for grizzly only. These peaceful animals are omnivores, eating vegetation, carrion, and insects. A black bear attack is not likely even for defense of their baby, and are easy to photo.
